PERSONAL TRAININGTaking advantage of Personal Training sessions is an excellent way to get yourself started on the right track as soon as you join the club. For that reason, we include an introductory personal training session to get people started in a safe and knowledgeable way. People weren’t ‘born’ knowing how to lift weights, do Cardio intervals, or stretch, so why not take learn correctly from trained instructors! If you’ve been working out for awhile without seeing the results, or maybe you have a specific training goal, these are both examples of how working with a trainer can really help you focus, learn and achieve results. WEIGHT IS OVER: A POUND A WEEK!The "Weight Is Over” our POUND A WEEK CLUB is a weight loss program designed by Alison Olson. This three in one program focuses on fitness, nutrition and stress management. It teaches individuals healthy eating habits for permanent weight loss. We offer various programs including an ongoing 8 week program for $79, and a ‘Biggest Loser’ group. Call today for more information.SWIM LESSONSSwim lessons are available for children ages 2 to 13 years of age. Two six week sessions are offered in the Fall followed by three five week sessions in the Winter and Spring. Class sizes are small allowing for individual needs of children to be met. Lessons are taught by a very experienced American Red Cross Certified instructor. Swim Lessons are offered one-on-one for adults. For details regarding all times and dates of aquatic programs for children, please call the club at 508-820-0424.CHILDWATCHOur Childwatch room is located on the third floor of the building, directly over the fitness area. Parents with children must bring their children to babysitting prior to signing themselves in. Joan Fontaine, our head babysitter, has been caring for children for over nine years. Two sitters are always present during the busy hours of the club.Our colorfully painted room is filled with many toys for the children. A television showing videos is playing should children prefer to sit and watch. The cost of childcare is $3.00 per child per hour. Payment is made directly in the Childwatch room when children are dropped off. Parents are requested to sign children in upon arriving. This loving environment helps new parents feel comfortable while leaving their child in order to work out. Childwatch hours are Monday through Friday 8:30AM to 11:30AM. |
